Opinion Of Darwin's Teachers

It was the general opinion of the Darwin's teachers that such a dull boy never had been within the school walls. But Darwin became a world famous naturalist. His observations and explorations during the Beagle's voyages in the Pacific Ocean led to the theory of evolution recorded in 'on the origin of species' (1859) and 'The Descent of Man' (1871).
